UNHIDING THE UNDERLINED LETTERS FOR WINDOWS 10

  1. Type "ease of" into the Cortana search box in the taskbar
  2. A control panel with "Ease of Access" should appear at the top of the search results. Select that.
  3. When the Ease of Access Center opens, scroll down to the sub-heading "Make it easier to use keyboard shortcuts" and click the checkbox labeled "Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys."
  4. Click "Apply" to save the changes and close the control panel.

In some applications, like Internet Explorer 11, you can still use shortcuts even though the menu bar isn't visible. Tap the Alt key to reveal the menu toolbar.
